EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY

Exercise physiology is a specialization within the field of kinesiology. 

It is the study of how the body reacts to physical exercise, in both the long and short term, and how the body adapts to ongoing exercise. 

The body's response to an acute bouts of exercise and long-term physiological adaptations to exercise training with an emphasis on myology, nutrition and energy systems, cardiovascular system and the respiratory system.
