Projectiles

Projectile motion is the motion of an object thrown or projected into the air, subject to only the acceleration of gravity.

The object is called a PROJECTILE, and its path is called its TRAJECTORY

A projectile is an object that is moving through the air unassisted with only GRAVITY and AIR RESISTANCE acting upon it. (we often ignore air resistance because it does not affect the object that much)
